Mid-Fired Stoneware Sculpture

This piece, Mother Moon, represents the mid-way phase of the moon cycle, also known as "The Mother". The maiden and the crone are counterparts to this legendary figure, a trio which if often included in stories about fate, time, and destiny. Mother Moon reminds us of a time in between the bloom of youth and the reflection of old age.
